Accessibility statement

This is the accessibility statement for the Image Wear online store.

This accessibility statement applies to the online service imagewear.fi.

Our goal is to provide digital services that are accessible to all users. In this accessibility statement, we explain what kind of shortcomings there are in the accessibility of the service and how you can give us feedback and development suggestions regarding the accessibility of the site. This accessibility statement was published on 11.6.2025.

The description of the accessibility of the site is based on an assessment by Image Wear and an external expert organization.

The service largely meets accessibility requirements.

The following content and functions are not yet fully accessible.

Header

- Header social and language options overlap when the screen is narrowed to 320 CSS pixels wide. (1.4.10)
- Unable to open main navigation submenus using keyboard and assistive devices. (2.1.1) fixed 4.9.2025
- The header contains links whose purpose is not conveyed to the aids or whose purpose is conveyed to the aids incompletely. (2.4.4) corrected 4.9.2025

Product listings

- The product listing has several buttons with the same name, which are difficult to distinguish from each other using assistive devices. (1.3.1)
- Color and size labels are not programmatically linked to element groups. (1.3.1)
- For missing products, the element contrast is low. The missing product is only indicated visually, not programmatically. (1.4.3), (1.4.11), (1.3.1).

- The structure of product images shows shortcomings in the accessible names, roles and states of elements. (4.1.2)

Filtration

Paging

Shopping basket

- The summary is located last in the content, and can be easily missed, especially by assistive technology users. (1.3.2)

Other shortcomings in the service

- Not all texts that function as headings have been programmatically marked as headings in some places. (1.3.1)
- Input fields are not always identified with appropriate autocomplete attributes. (1.3.5)
- The contrast ratio of the text is weak in places. (1.4.3)
- Some content requires two-way scrolling when the screen is narrowed to 320 CSS pixels wide. (1.4.10)
- The service contains elements that cannot be smoothly controlled using only the keyboard or assistive devices with all technologies. (2.1.1) corrected 4.9.2025
